This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This is an application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed by the Petitioner for bail in connection with K.Singhpur P.S.Case No.194 of 2020, corresponding to T.R. No.78 of 2020, pending in the Court of the learned ADJ-cum-P.O. Special Court (POCSO) Act, Rayagada. for alleged commission of offence under Sections 376, 109, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 4 of POCSO Act, 2012.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner does not want to press this application at this juncture. However he prays for a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial.

Accordingly, the bail application stands disposed of as withdrawn. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a

// 2 // period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation the bail application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
