1. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode. Order No 2.

Heard Mr. N. Sahani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.P. Das, learned Addl. Standing Counsel.

Even though the prayer has been made for quashing of the proceeding initiated against the petitioner on 26.2.2020 under Annexure-7 and for a direction to the opp. parties to release his retirement benefits, but this Court finds that the prayer made is not entertainable unless the proceeding initiated on 26.2.2020 is completed. Since it is submitted that the petitioner after receipt of the charges has filed written statement of defence under Annexure-8 and in the meantime, the enquiry officer has been appointed vide order dated 18.2.2021 under Annexure-9, this Court directs Opp. party No.4 to take all possible steps to complete the proceeding and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt

// 2 // of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. It is also observed that the petitioner shall cooperate with the enquiry and will not seek any adjournment/time during the course of the enquiry. 4.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and direction.
