Mr. Rout, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner (Workman). He submits, opposite party no.2, though by memo dated 18th September, 2021 requested opposite party no.1 to implement the award but, thereafter no steps were taken. 2.

Mr. Acharya, learned advocate, Additional Standing Counsel appears on behalf of opposite party no.1.

We notice, the workman had approached the Labour Commissioner by letter dated 9th June, 2009. Opposite party no.1 filed the writ petition impugning the award, which was dismissed as far back as on 7th November, 2017. In the circumstances, opposite

// 2 // party no.2 and all concerned are directed to take steps forthwith for implementation of the award in accordance with law. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of.
