This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Gram Ganjam P.S. Case No.115 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.671 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Chatrapur, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 294/323/307/506/34 of IPC read with Section 4 & 5 of E.S. Act.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Chatrapur, Ganjam, by order dated 20.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that investigation has progressed substantially and the nature of the injuries suffered by the victim being simple in nature, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the State that the petitioner is accused in Chatrapur P.S. Case No. 373 of 2022, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till submission of final form.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
