This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Sonepur P.S. Case No.137 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.124 of 2022, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Sonepur, for alleged commission of offences under Section 366/376(2)(n) of IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonepur, by order dated 25.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the order of rejection.

Keeping in view the nature of allegations, punishment prescribed and the release of the co-accused by order dated 25.08.2022 in BLAPL No.7450 of 2022 and being cognizant of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court

directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
