Heard Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr. Mishra, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigations are going on in connection with Singla P.S. Case No.109 of 2015 registered for commission of offences under Sections 498(A)/323/506/34 I.P.C., Jaleswar P.S. Case No.219 of 2018 registered for commission of offences under Sections 354-B/323 I.P.C., Singla P.S. Case No.176 of 2021 registered for commission of offences under Sections 341/294/506/507/34 I.P.C. & Singla P.S. Case No.68 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 365/342/ 323/325/307/379/506/34 I.P.C. read with Section 25/27 of Arms Act, 1959.

Mr. A.K. Nanda submits that for redressal of such type of grievances, the petitioner should have approached, the Superintendent of Police, Balasore (opposite party No.2) instead of rushing to this Court.

In such background, Mr. Mishra submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Superintendent of Police, Balasore (opposite party No.2) for redressal of his grievances by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.2 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a certified copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
