This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner-Financer has filed this writ petition to set aside the recovery proceeding initiated by the Tax Recovery Officer, Rourkela, Rourkela-Opposite Party No.1. 3.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the petitioner is ready to deposit the certificate amount, i.e., Rs.58,500/- in respect of Vehicle bearing registration No.OD14-H-8720 in connection with TRC No.4063 of 2022, as it relates to tax amount only.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event Petitioner deposits the entire certificate amount of Rs.58, 500/- (rupees fifty-eight thousand five hundred only) in respect of Vehicle bearing registration No.OD-14-H-8720 within a period of four weeks hence, no coercive measures pursuant to certificate drawn in connection with TRC No.4063 of 2022 shall be taken against him. In the

// 2 // event of failure on the part of the Petitioner to comply with the order, the Tax Recovery Officer is at liberty to take action in accordance with law.
