Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Banki P.S. Case No. 39 of 2020 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 101 of 2020 pending in the court of learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Cuttack for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 147/148/302/307/120B of IPC. 4.

Considering the severity of the accusations and the existence of materials prima facie in support thereof, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. 5.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
