01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "It is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the case, call for the relevant records and after hearing the parties pass the following order/orders as deem fit and proper: (i) To quash the order dated 01.07.2021 under Annexure-8;
(ii) To direct the Opp.party No. 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner to the post of DSWO as per Orissa Social Welfare Service Group-B (Method of Recruitment and Condition of Service) Rules 2002 and Amended Rules 2017 with all consequential and service benefits. (iii) To direct the Opp. parties to disposed of the representation dated 12.07.2022 under Annexure-9. (iv) To pass such other order(s) or direction(s) as deem fit and proper.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
