This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defect with three days.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to grant retrospective promotion to the petitioner to Jr. SES Cadre with effect from 07.06.1997 with notional benefits as has been extended to similarly situated persons and accordingly to release all consequential benefits.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-12 and direction be given to consider and dispose of the same within a stipulated time, taking into consideration Annexures-10 and 11, to which learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department has no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-12, taking into consideration Annexures-10 and 11 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
