This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Sohela P.S. Case No.207 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.584 of 2021, pending before the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Sohela, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 379/511/34 of IPC read with Section 15(2) of Petroleum and Mineral Pipeline Act, 1967.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Sohela, by order dated 17.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and considering that the petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every month till conclusion of trial and certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the Court in seisin over the matter. 7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
