WPCRL No. 105 of 2022 Nikunja Bihari Samantaray .....
Petitioner Mr. J. Sahoo, Adv.
Vs.
Superintendent of Police, Khurda & Another .....
Opposite Parties Mr. D. Nayak, A.G.A.
CORAM:
JUSTICE S.TALAPATRA JUSTICE SAVITRI RATHO
ORDER
23.11.2022 Order No.
03.
1.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2.
Mr. J. Sahoo, learned counsel who appears for the petitioner has filed a memorandum seeking leave to withdraw. The victim girl has been recovered by the police and she is now living with her parents. Such fact is reflected in the report dated 03.11.2022 of the I.I.C., Balugan Police Station as filed by Mr. D. Nayak, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate appearing for the State. 3.
We do not find any reason to continue this proceeding. Even, no order for withdrawal is warranted. The writ petition should be disposed of as infructuous.
4.
Accordingly, it is ordered.
5.
The memorandum for withdrawal and the report of the I.I.C., Balugan Police Station are taken on record.
