This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

As directed, learned court below has submitted a report indicating that after examination of four witnesses, the matter has been adjourned on as many as 13 occasions as despite repeated summons, charge sheeted witnesses are not turned up. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2016 for more than 6 years.

Having regard to the above fact, the bail application is disposed of directing the learned court below to release the petitioner on interim bail for a period of two months from the date of his actual release on such terms and conditions he may deem fit and proper to impose.

Learned court below is further directed to take appropriate coercive measures available in law to procure the attendance of the remaining witnesses and to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

BLAPL is disposed of accordingly.

8.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
