This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Keonjhar Sadar P.S. Case No.275 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1247 of 2022, pending before the learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 376(1)/511/379/506 of the IPC.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Keonjhar, by order dated 10.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there has been substantial progress in investigation and as such further continuance of the petitioner is not warranted in facts of the present case.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the investigation is continuing and the petitioner has criminal antecedent. 7.

Taking into account the antecedent, the manner in which the offence has been committed, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application of the petitioner during the currency of the investigation.

8.

It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after filing of the charge-sheet.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
