The Petitioner, a defaulting borrower of a term loan for a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- availed from UCO Bank, Belpahar Branch in the district of Jharsuguda on 2nd February, 2016, facing recovery process under the SARFAESI Act, 2002, which have reached the stage of E-auction sale of the mortgaged property on 29th August, 2022 for recovery of an outstanding liability of more than Rs.6.00 lakhs.

At the time of hearing, counsel for the Bank states that upon deposit of the amounts overdue, the loan account has been upgraded to a standard account. Thus, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Counsel for the Petitioner files a memo seeking unconditional withdrawal of the writ petition.
