Heard Mr. A.B. Malick, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. Malick, the petitioner, who is a lady and a senior citizen is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Beltukuri P.S. Case No. 19 dated 10.03.2022 registered for commission of under Section-384/ 34 of the I.P.C.

During course of hearing, Mr. Malick submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Nuapada (Opposite Party No.2) for redressal of her grievances and he further prays that the said Opposite Party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Nuapada

(Opposite Party No.2) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, the Opposite Party No.2 receives such a petition, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
