The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order dated 15.03.2008 and 22.09.2008 under Annexures-4 and 8, whereby the petitioner was dismissed from service for furnishing false caste certificate. 4.

Mr. S. S. Kanungo, learned Additional Government Advocate contended similar matter had come up for consideration before the apex Court in the case of The Chief Executive Officer, Bhilai Steel Plant v. Mahesh Kumar Gonnade, 2022 LiveLaw (SC) 572, wherein it has been held that when a person secures appointment on the basis of a false certificate, he cannot be permitted to retain the benefit of wrongful. 5.

In view of the above, the writ petition merits no consideration and the same is hereby dismissed.
