03. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. S.K. Ojha, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Tuna Sahu, learned counsel appearing for O.P. No. 6-Bank.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the facts and circumstances stated above, it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue rule NISI calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause as to why the writ in the nature of Mandamus shall not be issued directing the Opposite Parties to pay the arrears of pension of her deceased husband for the period from 01.11.1987 to 05.10.2015 with interest @ 18% per annum within a stipulated period. If the Opp. Parties failed to show any cause to show insufficient cause, rule may be made absolute. And further be pleased to pass any other order/orders as deemed fit and proper;

And to allow this Writ Petition;

And for this act of kindness, the Petitioner shall as in dutybound every pray."

4. It is submitted that the O.P. No. 5 vide his letter dtd.22.01.2021 under Annexure-10 though requested O.P. No. 6 to provide certain information regarding LTA calculation, but the said O.P. No. 6 when did not comply the request as made in Annexure-10, the present writ Petition was filed with the aforesaid prayer.

5. Even though notice of the writ Petition was issued to the Opp. Party No. 6 through Special Messenger, but no counter affidavit has been filed by the Bank.

In view of the claim made in the writ Petition and taking into account the age of the Petitioner, this Court directs the Opp. Party No. 6 to comply the request as made in Annexure-10 within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The Petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order before the O.P. No. 6 for compliance within a period of 3(three) days from the date of receipt of this order.
