Heard learned counsel for Petitioners and learned counsel appearing for State.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "
Under the above circumstances, it is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order by quashing the orders dated 22.03.201 and 29.09.2021 issued by the opposite party No.2 vide Annexures-6 & 7 by regularizing the private opposite parties as Junior Engineer (PH) with effect from 2017, even though they were taken to the cadre only in the year 2021;
And this Hon'ble Court be pleased to pass any further order /orders, direction / directions as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case".

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that through highlighting their grievances, the petitioners have filed a representation at Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.3 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, they pray that a direction be issued to
// 2 // opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
