Heard Mr. Niranjan Panda-1, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr.
Panda, though pursuant to determination of compensation in connection with acquisition of his house situated on the Government land, he has received compensation of Rs.1,41,757/- pursuant to the order passed by the competitive authority and Land Acquisition Officer, N.H.-55, Dhenkanal (Opposite Party No. 2), however he has not been extended the benefits to which he is entitled to in the form of solatium, additional market value and rehabilitation and resettlement. He further submits that though highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has moved the Collector, Dhenkanal in the matter on 18.07.2022 under Annexure-4 series and though such representation has been duly acknowledged in the public grievance cell of the Collectorate, but till date, nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Collector-cum-Arbitrator, N.H.-200,
// 2 // Dhenkanal (Opposite Party No.3) to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period. 3.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party no.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
