This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.1035 of 2022 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Angul arising out of Angul P.S. Case No.383 of 2022, for offence under Sections 376(2)(f)/376(2)(n)/506 IPC and is in custody since 16.07.2022. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. District & Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge (Vigilance), Angul by order dated 09.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Perused the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

Taking into account that the Petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2022 and filing of the charge sheet on 28.8.2022, this Court

directs the Petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned court in seisin over the matter. 7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
