In this revision petition, the interim
// 2 // maintenance order of Rs.3000/- (three thousand) per month awarded in favour of the opposite party-wife is under challenged.
After going through the impugned order and hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the cost of living in the present society and escalation of the prices of the essential commodities, I do not think that the interim maintenance award is in any way is excessive. Accordingly, the criminal revision petition stands dismissed.
