1. An affidavit has been filed by the Petitioner stating that in view of the order passed by the National Green Tribunal, Eastern Zone, Kolkata Bench (NGT) on 18th August, 2022 in OA No.66/22/EZ, the Petitioner will opt for any other non-polluting project i.e. other than poultry farming.

2. It will be open to the Petitioner, therefore, to approach the State Government with a fresh proposal in the above terms, which if made on or before 2nd January 2023, it will be examined notwithstanding the order dated 18th August, 2022 of the NGT. However, the said proposal will be for a project other than poultry farming. A decision thereon be taken within a period of two months thereafter and be communicated to the Petitioner within a week of the decision being taken.

3. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per Rules.
