2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer:- "the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule NISI calling upon the Opposite Parties to file show cause and if the Opposite Parties failed to file show cause or filed insufficient cause on perusal of causes shown make the said Rule absolute and be further pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the opp.

parties more particularly Opp. Party No.20Collector, Balasore to consider the petitoner's case for appointment under the Orissa Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 1990." 4.

The Petitioner has moved before Opposite Party No.2 seeking redressal of his grievances as made in the representation under Annexure-6 to the Writ Petition.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of

// 2 // the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction the Writ Petition is disposed of.
