Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Pipli P.S. Case No.285 of 2022 corresponding to Spl. G.R. Case No.84 of 2022, pending before the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Puri, for alleged commission of offences under Section 21(C)/29 of NDPS Act. 4.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Puri, by order dated 03.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the quantity of the contraband seized is to the tune of 988 gms and the role ascribed to the petitioner, this

Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage in view of the Bar contained under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. 7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
