Heard Mr.S.K.Pani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.H.M.Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 3.
According to Mr.Pani for the purpose of construction of Lower Suktel Irrigation Project most of the land of the petitioner was acquired and after such acquisition the rest of his land measuring Ac.0.55 dec. has been rendered unfit for any use. Since the left out land has not been acquired, no compensation has been paid to him in respect of those land though the same cannot used for any purpose. In such background, he submits that though he has filed a representation on 16.8.2021 before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project in the district of Bolangir (opposite party No.4) under Annexure-8 highlighting his grievances however till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above
// 2 // representation under Annexure-8 within a specific time period. 4.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project in the district of Bolangir (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted representation dated 16.8.2021 under Annexure-8 in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
