1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard Mr. Satapathy, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. A.P. Das, learned ASC appearing for the Opp. Parties.
3. It is submitted that the impugned order passed on 09.01.2008 though was challenged in W.P.(C)(OAC) No.966 of 2009, but that writ Petition was disposed of by granting liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Authority concerned, if any cause of action still survives.
4. It is submitted that the claim of the Petitioner has not yet been settled and the Petitioner is entitled to get the benefit of ex-gratia compensation. In that view of the matter this Court while is not inclined to interfere with the prayer, permits the Petitioner to make any such application in terms of the order passed by this Court on 20.01.2022.

5. It is observed that if any such application is moved seeking extension of the benefit, the Authority concerned shall take a lawful decision on the same.
