This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioners for bail in connection with Rengali P.S. Case No.07 of 2021, corresponding to T.R. Case No.01 of 2021, pending in the file of learned District & Sessions Judge, Sambalpur, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of N.D.P.S. Act. 3.

Heard learned counsel for both the parties. Perused the Case Diary.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the bail application with liberty to renew their prayer at a later stage. He further prays for a direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial of the case. 5.

In such view of the matter, the bail application is disposed of as withdrawn. However, this Court directs that the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial of the aforesaid case and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the

// 2 // date of this order. In the event trial of the case has not been completed within the aforesaid time, it is open to the Petitioners to file fresh bail application(s). In such event, the trial court shall consider the prayer of the Petitioners in accordance with law without being influenced by any other factor.

The BLAPL is disposed of with liberty as prayed for. 7.
