This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Bolangir Sadar P.S. Case No.249 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.884 of 2022, pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Bolangir, for the alleged commission of offences under Sections 420/468/471/120B/34 of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Bolangir, by order dated 11.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the principal accused in the case at hand i.e. one Madhaba Prusty has already been released on bail in BLAPL No.6814 of 2022, hence on the ground of parity, the petitioner seeks release. 6.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Taking into account the release of the co-accused and the age of the petitioner and the role ascribed to him, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
