Heard Mr. A.K. Chhatoi, learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the order of transfer passed by the Divisional Forest Officer, Bargarh Forest Division, Bargarh-Opp. Party No.3 on 29.8.2022 under Annexure-4. It is submitted that the said Opp. party No.4 is not competent to pass such an order of transfer in view of the notification issued by the Government on 26.2.2021 under Annexure-8.

Be that as it may, since the petitioner has not made his grievance against the order of transfer, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.

However, it is observed that if the petitioner makes an application before Opp. Party No.2 within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of this order, raising all points, as has been taken in the present writ petition, the said Opp. Party No.2 shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of two weeks. Petitioner is directed

// 2 // to produce a copy of this order before Opp. party No.2 along with a representation within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of this order.

It is further observed that till a decision is taken by Opp. party No.2 on such application of the petitioner, status quo as on today with regard to continuance of the petitioner be maintained.
