This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

The present bail application has been filed by the husband of the deceased under Section 439 Cr.P.C.

An F.I.R. was lodged by the father of the victim girl namely, Purusottam Bhoi on 13th April, 2021before the I.I.C., Pipili Police Station inter alia alleging that his daughter was tortured for dowry and finally she was burnt to death with active participation of the Petitioner and other family members. 4.

Perused the F.I.R., statements recorded under section 161 Cr.P.C. and the Case Diary.

Having heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the State, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail at this stage.
