Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the bail application. Further he prays for a direction to expedite the trial since the Petitioner is in custody from the date of his arrest. 3.

In such view of the matter, the BLAPL is disposed of as withdrawn with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial and shall make endeavour to conclude the trial within a period of six months.
