This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. The petitioner by way of an application U/S. 482 of Cr.P.C. seeks to quash the criminal proceeding under Dhamnagar P.S. Case No.89 of 2015 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 163 of 2015 of the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Dhamnagar but no stay has been granted by this Court from proceeding further in the criminal case and in the meantime, around seven years have passed from the date of initiation of the criminal proceeding. In view of the above facts, this Court reasonably entertains a doubt as to whether the cause of action still survives for the petitioner in this case.

In view of such, the CRLMC is dismissed.
