This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Special G.R. Case No.24 of 2022, pending before the learned Special Judge-cum-Sessions Judge, Nayagarh, arising out of Special Task Force (Crime Branch) P.S. Case No.6 of 2022, for alleged commission of offences under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Nayagarh, by order dated 24.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

This is the second journey of the petitioner to this Court.

Taking into account that the contraband seized is more than the commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to consider the bail application of the petitioner at this stage. 7.

Leave is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer before the learned Court after examination of the independent witnesses.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
