Grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to management and functioning of Aska Cooperative Sugar Industries Ltd., Ganjam, which is a Central Cooperative Society.

It appears that the Petitioner has made a detailed grievance before Registrar of Cooperative Societies, OdishaOpposite Party No.2 on 22nd December, 2021 (Annexure-9). It is submitted by Mr. Gupta, learned counsel that although the Registrar has jurisdiction to entertain the said grievance in terms of Section 68 of the Cooperative Societies Act, 1962 (for short 'the Act'), but the same has not yet been taken into consideration. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that Registrar of Cooperative Societies, OdishaOpposite Party No.2 to treat the grievance petition of the

// 2 // Petitioner as at Annexure-9 to be a dispute under Section 68 of the Act and may take a decision on the same in accordance with law giving opportunity of hearing to the parties likely to be affected. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case of the Petitioner. The Registrar may act on production of certified copy of this order. Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
