The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 9th July, 2018 passed in W.P.(C) No.9472 of 2017, whereby a direction was issued to initiate eviction proceedings against two encroachers from the plot in question, owned by the Government.

At the time of hearing, it is conceded that in view of Para 4 of the affidavit dated 17th February, 2022 filed by the Tahasildar, Dhamnagar, DistrictBhadrak, the present contempt has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the CONTC is dismissed as infructuous.
