This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Udit Nagar P.S. Case No.207 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1674 of 2021, pending in the file of the learned S.D.J.M., Panposh, Rourkela, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 387/506/507 of the IPC.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Rourkela, by order dated 06.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted that the petitioner that he has been remanded in this case only because of his criminal proclivity. 6.

Taking into account the age of the petitioner and the nature of allegations, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Keeping in view the criminal antecedents as pointed out by learned counsel for the State, this Court directs that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every 15(fifteen) days till conclusion of trial.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
