This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Jajpur Sadar P.S. Case No.198 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Spl. (POCSO) Case No.93 of 2022, pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Jajpur, for offences under Sections 363/366/376(2)(n) of IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Jajpur, by order dated 02.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement.

Keeping in view the tenor thereof and that the investigation has progressed substantially, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till submission of charge-sheet.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
