This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

The petitioner claiming himself to be an LR of the original Mining Lease Holder-Abdul Rajak Khan for stone quarry, had filed W.P.(C) No.3119 of 2022 seeking inter alia a mandamus for extending the lease in favour of the LRs, although it is not disputed that the allottee has left behind two minor children as his LRs. The said Writ Petition is stated to be still pending.

The instant Contempt Petition has been filed on the purported violation of the interim orders passed by this Court on 23rd March, 2022, 8th April, 2022 and 25th April, 2022.

At the outset realizing that the Writ Petition itself will have to be amended, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present Contempt Petition.

In view of the above, the Contempt Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
