Saheb Singh v. State Of Orissa
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
CRLMC No.2290 of 2016 Saheb Singh and others ....
Petitioners None -versusState of Odisha ....
Opp. Party Mr. J. Katikia, Advocate
CORAM:
JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH Order No.
ORDER
14.10.2022 04.
1. None appears on behalf of the Petitioners on call.
2. On perusal of the case record reveals that none has persuaded the case despite the order dated 23rd September, 2022 when the case was adjourned as a last chance.
3. By means of this application, the Petitioners seeks to quash the order dated 8th June, 2016 passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Koraput in G.R. Case No.304 of 2016 whereby the learned S.D.J.M. has taken cognizance in respect to the offence under Sections 420/34 IPC. Having regard to the age of the application, in absence of an interim stay, there is no point in keeping the CRLMC alive for an indefinite period particularly when the same is not being pursued by the Petitioners.
4. The CRLMC is accordingly dismissed.
