1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to: (1) direct the Opp. Parties to grant / sanction the retirement benefits, ie. pension, gratuity, unutilized leave salary. commuted value of pension and revised arrear dues of the Petitioner by regularizing the period of suspension from 18.02.2008 to 12.03.2009 as duty in view of the acquittal of the Petitioner vide Judgment, dated 05.11.2021 as well as finalization of the Disciplinary Proceedings and thereby grant annual periodical increments from 2008 to till retirement, 7th Pay Revision w.e.f. 01.01.2016 and Grade pay of Rs.5400/- w.e.f. 01.01.2013 as 2nd financial up gradation under RACP on completion of 20 years of service and G.P. of Rs.6600/- under MACP, on completion of 30 years of service w.e.f. 16.12.2017 as has been given to other similarly situated persons; (ii) pass such other order(s)/ direction(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bonafide interest of justice;

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.1, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
