Order No 2.

Heard Mr. U.C. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.P. Das, learned A.S.C. 3.

At the outset, Mr. U.C. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to describe Opp. Party No.2 properly in Court today.

The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer.

The Petitioner, therefore, most humbly prays that may be graciously pleased to allow the writ petion directing the opp. party to pay the monthly salary of the petitioner regularly w.e.f 12.1.2022 with all consequential benefits."

It is submitted that the petitioner though is discharging his duties as a social security officer under Puri Sadar block, but his salary as due and admissible has not been released w.e.f Janunary, 2022.

Mr.

Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that in that regard, the petitioner has moved an application before the

// 2 // concerned authority on 25.7.2022, but no decision has been taken in considering his grievance.

However, taking into account the nature of grievance raised, the petitioner is permitted to move the competent authority in that regard i.e. Opp. Party No.2 within a period of seven days from today. The said authority shall take appropriate action and release the salary, if the petitioner is continuing and discharging his duties as stated in the writ petition within a further period of two weeks. 8.
