Heard Mr. L. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Mishra, the grievance of the petitioner in this case pertains to non-registration of his complaint dated 30.08.2022 under Annexure-1 as F.I.R. by the I.I.C., Laxmisagar Police Station (opposite party No.6) though the same reveals commission of cognizable offences. He is also aggrieved by the pressure tactics of local police forcing him to make payments to the other party to the contract.

During course of hearing, Mr. Moharana submits that though the petitioner has submitted a representation before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.4) on 01.09.2022 however, he prays that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.4) afresh in the matter by filing a fresh grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific
// 2 // time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.4 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.4 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
