This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in C.T. Case No.5146 of 2022 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M. Bhubaneswar, arising out of Nayapali P.S. Case No.562 of 2022, offence under Sections 419/420/465/468 of the IPC and in custody since 26.08.2022. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar by order dated 07.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
Perused the order of rejection.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and the punishment prescribed and that investigation has progressed substantially as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this
Court directs him to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally this Court directs the petitioner to furnish Rs.17,000/- (Rupees Seventeen Thousand Only) as cash security which shall be kept in a short term interest bearing account pledged to the Court in seisin of the matter subject to the final outcome. 8.
It is further directed that the petitioner shall appear before the I.O. once every week till the conclusion of investigation. 9.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
