1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

(i) direct the Opp.Parties to grant 2nd and 3rd Financial Up gradation under R.A.C.P. of G.P.of Rs.4600/- and Rs.5400/ respectively on completion of 20 and 30 years of service as Forester, as has been given to other similarly situated Foresters (Dy. Ranger), viz. Gadadhar Panda, Samir Kumar Rout, Purna Ch. Panda and others as at Annexure- 7 and taking into account the Order, dt. 11.12.2018 in O.A. No. 2951/2018 as at Annexure-6 and accordingly grant all the consequential financial and service benefits to the petitioner (ii) pass such other order(s) or issue direction(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bona fide interest of justice. And for this act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound, ever pray."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.1, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition taking into account Annexure-6 & 7 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
