Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "

It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit this writ petition, call for the records, issue rule Nisi calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause as to why the petitioners shall not be released the arrear and current salary.

Further as to why he shall not be allowed to get the enhanced rate of consolidated remuneration to the tune of 30,000 per month till with effect from 1.10.2017 pursuant to finance department office memorandum 17.3.2018 failing to show cause or showing insufficient cause issue the writ of Mandamus directing the opposite party No.1 and 2 to release the arrear differential remuneration with interest with effect from 1.10.2017 till August, 2022".

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been

// 2 // done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account the order passed under Annexures-4 & 7 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
