1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the above circumstances It is, therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a writ in appropriate nature directing the Respondents to finalize the selection Process in pursuance of advertisement dated 22.10.2012 in compliance of the Odisha Government Press Industrial (Employees, Classification, Recruitment, Appeal) Rules, 1978 on consideration of the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure- 13 expeditiously forthwith or within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. And pass such other order/orders, direction/directions as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application

// 2 // at Annexure-13 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition taking into account Annexure-7 & 12 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
