This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with C.T. Case No.2894 of 2022, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar, arising out of Lingaraj P.S. Case No.121 of 2022, for offences under Sections 376(2)(n)/406/294/506/34 of IPC read with Section 4 of D.P. Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhubaneswar, by order dated 04.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim. 6.

Considering the tenor thereof and the period of custody since 13.05.2022 and since charge-sheet has already been filed on 12.07.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail

on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
