1. This is an application under Sec.439 Cr.P.C. for bail and the offences alleged are under Secs.147/148/302/460/506/120-B/149, I.P.C., Secs.25/27 of the Arms Act and Secs.16/17/18/20/22 of the UAP and Sec.17 of the Criminal Amendment Act.

2. Heard Mr. M. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. K. Das, learned A.S.C. for the State-Opposite Party.

3. It is submitted Mr. M. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner that despite direction of this Court dated 19.5.2022 passed in BLAPL No.2128 of 2022 to complete the trial by end of August, 2022, till date the trial is pending and the case is at the stage of recording of the accused statement.

4. Upon hearing both the parties and considering the nature of offences as well as the statement of the witnesses and the stage of trial, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.

5. The BLAPL is dismissed.

6. However, as prayed for, learned trial court is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible. ( B.P. Routray) Judge B.K. Barik
