The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to settle the land occupied by him in his favour. 3.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authority by making application in the prescribed format.
